Jan Willem van Asperen speaker at ING Pega event

On November 23, ING organized the OnePega Product Day in Amsterdam with the central theme of act-as-one. Our sales director Jan Willem van Asperen was one of the speakers at this event. ING organizes this event annually, with the aim of improving internal – and external cooperation to achieve efficient and effective use of Pega. We are proud that Jan Willem was asked to participate in the supplier panel discussion.

During the panel discussion, Jan Willem had the opportunity to share BPM Company’s vision and experiences in implementing and optimizing Pega within large organizations such as ING. Jan Willem explained that management commitment, a good strategy, and cross-team cooperation are crucial. The latter happens too rarely without (central) direction, which delays digitalization and innovation. It also helps if the business understands what Pega is and how it can be used to optimize processes. With tools like App Studio and modular reuse, Pega supports the collaboration between business and IT very well. So in Jan Willem’s view, act-as-one is primarily a mindset!
