The 3 main takeaways from PegaWorld iNspire 2024
GenAI, the highlight of PegaWorld iNspire 2024, was showcased as a transformative force within Pega. The event featured ground-breaking announcements and practical applications that are set to shape the future of business process optimization. At BPM Company, we have been closely monitoring how these advancements can enhance our consultancy services and deliver added value to our clients. In this article, our specialists share the three most significant developments from PegaWorld iNspire 2024.
GenAI Blueprint: Accelerating Workflow Development
One of the most remarkable innovations discussed at PegaWorld iNspire 2024 is Blueprint. During our visit to the Innovation Hub, we partnered with a client to explore the Blueprint kiosk, where we input data from an existing application. Within five minutes, we received a blueprint outlining detailed workflows, data insights, and personas tailored specifically to our client’s industry. These insights are instrumental in expediting current application development, maximizing the use of Pega’s OOTB components, and potentially modernizing the application with the latest Pega features. In short, Blueprint facilitates rapid, visually-supported discussions between development teams and business stakeholders. For BPM Company, this means we can assist our clients more efficiently in achieving their digital transformations and business objectives.
GenAI Socrates: A Renewed Learning Experience
We are a proud training partner of Pega with our own Academy where we train individuals to become certified System Architects and Business Architects. A key component of this training involves completing CBA, CSA, or CSSA missions on Pega Academy. This entails going through all underlying modules, reading the theory, and taking a short quiz at the end of each module. Those who have completed the Academy may recognize that learning and truly grasping the material can vary between modules. It is not always the case that all learning objectives of a module are achieved. Pega now offers a new way of learning with GenAI: Socrates. This GenAI feature facilitates a dialogue between the student and Socrates. The student is questioned on their understanding of each learning objective and topic, and Socrates provides targeted assistance to improve comprehension before re-evaluating understanding. The result? Students receive focused help on their knowledge gaps, gain deeper understanding of the material, and achieve all learning objectives. These are the certified SA or BA colleagues who can confidently apply their Pega expertise to our clients’ needs.
GenAI Knowledge Buddy: Your smart information partner
The Knowledge Buddy is designed as an organization-specific virtual assistant, similar to ChatGPT. You ask a question, and the Buddy provides you with an answer. This assistant delivers contextual and relevant information to users during their tasks, enhancing efficiency and productivity. Whether it’s locating specific business information, answering inquiries, or assisting with complex tasks, the Knowledge Buddy serves as a direct gateway to knowledge. Implementing this tool will elevate the quality, efficiency, and productivity within our consultancy services for clients.
