The key takeaways from PegaWorld 2025

For the 15th year in a row, we attended PegaWorld as BPM Company. The leading event where technology, innovation, and the Pega community come together. For us, it’s a place to gain new insights, reconnect with clients and partners, and discover how we can better support organizations in their digital transformation with Pega. In this blog, we zoom in on the most important innovations, with a striking trend: Pega is involving into the architectural brain behind digital enterprises.

 

1. Agentic AI – A digital colleague in your processes

The shift from Generative AI to Agentic AI was definitely present at PegaWorld. While Generative AI focuses on creating content based on prompts, Agentic AI goes a step further: it makes autonomous decisions and actively performs tasks within business processes. Think of it as a digital colleague that manages sub-processes, learns from feedback, and collaborates closely with human employees. For our clients, this means faster and smarter handling of complex, large-scale processes and a stronger partnership between AI agents and human teams.

In the banking sector, Agentic AI is already being piloted to accelerate the creation of credit proposals. Instead of manually collecting and analysing data, agents now automatically retrieve the necessary information, assess risks, draft documentation, and present it to an employee for review. These are not future ambitions, these applications are already running in production.

Consultants putting Agentic AI into practice

Our consultants are inspired to use agentic work models to design smarter and more efficient processes. At BPM Company, we’re actively exploring this potential together with our clients.
Examples include upcoming implementations of Email Triage and Knowledge Buddy at one of our customers. We’re also investigating new scenarios, such as AI agents that automatically handle customer requests and provide real-time insights into emerging trends.

 

2. Blueprint – From idea to solution, faster

The latest updates to Pega Blueprint significantly accelerate the design process. A standout feature is the new video analysis tool, which allows users to upload screen recordings, manuals, or system documentation. Blueprint processes this input and automatically generates a working prototype, complete with workflows, data models, and UI components. This innovation is already being used in the financial sector to speed up the migration of outdated processes to modern, cloud-native environments.

Using Blueprint for Proof of Concept

In the upcoming period, we’ll be using Blueprint more actively during client discussions to quickly develop concrete Proofs of Concept and visually demonstrate the value of Pega from the start.
We also plan to leverage Blueprint within existing client environments to make legacy system migrations faster, more visual, and driven by data.

 

Our highlights from PegaWorld 2025

Progress and connections around Launchpad

At BPM Company, a dedicated team is building an HR SaaS application using Launchpad. PegaWorld gave us the opportunity to engage directly with Pega’s Launchpad product team. These conversations proved highly valuable: offering insights into the look and feel of the platform, as well as possibilities for a custom front-end. Even more important, we received targeted advice and, above all, confirmation and validation of our business model.

Breakout session with ING and Bovemij

Another highlight was the session on establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE) at ING and Bovemij, in which our colleague Jan Willem played a key role. A great example of how our approach truly makes an impact. Watch it here!

Networking & new opportunities

At our own booth, we connected with new organizations within the Pega community. These conversations opened up exciting perspectives and gave us fresh energy to explore new partnerships.
