Pega Business Architect

Purpose of the training

The Pega Business Architect training lays the foundation for working as a Pega Business Architect.

In this training you will learn:

• the core principles of application development on Pega Platform™ from the App Studio.
• what the role of a Pega Business Architect is and how to perform the most common Application Development tasks to prepare for your first Pega development project.

As a key member of the development team, the Certified Pega Business Architect works with Pega Certified System Architects and participates in every aspect of the design and construction of a Pega Platform application.

Begin your journey as a business architect with Pega Platform™ by learning the capabilities of App Studio to develop applications on Pega Platform that advance the digital transformation of organizations. Understand how Pega’s Center-out business architecture underpins the Pega Express™ values and best practices for application development and delivery. Explore Constellation, Pega’s new UI architecture for building enterprise applications using the latest open-source technologies. Examine how Blueprint, Pega’s SaaS offering, dramatically accelerates application development.

You will also be prepared for the Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) exam.

Blended Learning

The training includes a combination of self-study and classroom instruction. Before the classroom day, participants review the training material for that day online themselves. Then, on the day itself, this material will be treated in the classroom in summary form. We explain topics, give real-life examples where useful, and discuss exercises.

To limit classroom training time and therefore costs, BPM Company offers the blended learning variant. For people without development experience, blended training is definitely recommended. The classroom part helps to better understand the teaching material through the oral explanation of an experienced Pega consultant, group discussions, exercises, sharing experiences and individual guidance where necessary.

There are no specific requirements for following this training.

Preparation

In preparation for each classroom teaching day, the relevant Pega Business Architect teaching material must be followed through the Pega Academy.

Language

• Training materials are in English.
• The training can be provided in both Dutch and English.

Exam preparation

• The classroom training also includes exam preparation. We have experienced that a considerable number of people who follow a Pega training do not try or fail the corresponding exams. Because of the technical and English questions, the exams are very challenging to understand and then also to answer.
• The exam preparation has significantly increased the pass rate of participants in the Pega Certified Business Architect exam and is one of the factors that positively distinguishes us from other training partners.

Certification

• After completing the training, the participant is largely prepared for the PCBA (Pega Certified Business Architect) exam of the same name, whereby, depending on each candidate, self-study is required to pass the exam.
