Training
Pega System Architect
Purpose
The Pega System Architect training lays the foundation for working as a Pega System Architect.
In this training you will learn:
- the core principles of application development on the Pega platform with the aim of increasing your commitment and effectiveness in a Pega development process.
- perform the most common application development tasks in preparation for your first Pega project.
Contents
This training provides insight into how to implement Intelligent Automation with case management using Pega’s unified, low-code platform. You’ll learn how to perform the most common application development tasks using the App Studio and Dev Studio and prepare for your first Pega development project. You will also be prepared for the Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) exam.
Blended Learning
The training contains a combination of self-study and classroom lessons. Prior to the classroom training day, the participants go through the learning material for that day online. Subsequently, this material will be discussed in summary form in class on the training day. We explain topics, give practical examples where this is useful and discuss the exercises.
To limit classroom training time and therefore costs, BPM Company offers the blended learning variant. For people without development experience, blended training is definitely recommended. The classroom part helps to better understand the teaching material through the oral explanation of an experienced Pega consultant, group discussions, exercises, sharing experiences and individual guidance where necessary.
Admission Requirements
- No specific requirements for this training.
- Basic knowledge of application development helps in understanding the teaching material.
Preparation
In preparation for each classroom teaching day, the relevant Pega System Architect teaching material must be followed through the Pega Academy.
Study material
The study material can be found at the Pega Academy.
Language
- Training materials are in English.
- The training can be provided in both Dutch and English.
Exam preparation
- The classroom training also includes exam preparation. We have experienced that a considerable number of people who follow a Pega training do not try or fail the corresponding exams. Because of the technical and English questions, the exams are very challenging to understand and then also to answer.
- The exam preparation has significantly increased the pass rate of participants in the Pega Certified System Architect exam and is one of the factors that positively distinguishes us from other training partners.
Certification
- After completing the training, the participant is largely prepared for the PCSA (Pega Certified System Architect) exam of the same name, whereby, depending on each candidate, self-study is required to pass the exam.
- For the current Pega SA exam information see: Certified Pega System Architect | Pega Academy
- For more detailed exam information see: Pega Certification FAQs
- When you pass the exam, you will receive the official Pega CSA certificate.
