Danique Saber-Pauw

Field Manager at BPM Company

Danique: “I grew up in Mijdrecht, where I also attended secondary school. After that, I moved to Weesp and started working at a spa and wellness center. Later, I returned to Mijdrecht and opened my own beauty salon.
It was an incredibly valuable learning experience: the lessons I gained as an entrepreneur have continued to benefit me throughout my career.”

“I wanted to guide people in their development”

“Around 2017, I moved to Groningen for love. That’s where I found my way into the world of recruitment. I started working at GMSF, a sales organization, where I began my career as a recruiter. Those were my first steps within HR. I found it fascinating, but soon realized that my interest extended beyond recruitment alone; I wanted to guide people in their development. Gradually, my focus shifted more and more toward talent management.”

From Recruitment to Career Manager

“I made the move to Olympia, where I first worked as a recruiter and later as a recruitment consultant. I then continued my career at igen, an organization active in IT, engineering, and healthcare. There, I was given responsibility for my own team of service desk employees. I supported them during the early stages of their careers, guided their development, and provided assistance where needed. In addition, I was involved in account management, which allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the client side as well.

My next step was joining Sogeti, where I worked as a Career Manager supporting a team of RPA and AI professionals. From day one, I was there for them: matching them with suitable assignments, guiding their soft skill development, and helping them build and expand their professional network. I also ensured they were connected with internal experts to deepen their knowledge, and I acted as a sounding board and sparring partner, especially during more challenging phases of their careers.”

My start at BPM Company

“What I do now at BPM Company feels fundamentally familiar. Here, I support Pega developers and business analysts in their professional growth and career development. Very similar to what I did previously at Sogeti. The reason I chose BPM Company is its personal character. I had worked for a scale-up before and was looking again for an organization where I could quickly make a real impact. In a smaller organization, there is truly a magnifying glass on what you do; that motivates me. My work genuinely matters. For now, my main focus is to fully master my role here, as I’ve only just started. At the same time, I have two very young children, which naturally requires a great deal of time and energy as well.”

Outside of work

“In my free time, I spend a lot of time with my family and enjoy staying active. We have a mobile home near the Drielandenpunt, a beautiful spot surrounded by nature. I’m a bit of a birdwatcher, so I truly enjoy being there. With two young children — one ten months old and the other two and a half — there’s certainly never a dull moment.”
